Sports & active recovery massage in Kelowna
For neighbours who run the Mission trails, ride the hills, play a weekly round or get up the mountain all winter, and want to keep doing it comfortably.
What a session looks like
Every session starts with a short conversation about what’s going on, then I work with what your body needs that day. Pressure is always adjusted to your comfort.
This is therapeutic massage aimed at the areas your sport actually loads: calves, hips and hamstrings for runners; hip flexors, neck and shoulders for cyclists; mid-back and shoulders for golfers; quads and low back for skiers. It’s commonly used to ease post-training soreness and to stay on top of the tight spots that creep in during a season.
When to book
- In season: every three to five weeks to stay ahead of the usual tight spots
- After a big effort: a few days after a long run, ride or tournament
- Before an event: a week or so ahead, not the day before, so nothing feels new on the day
- Pre-season: while you’re building mileage back up
